Haji shook his head licking the icing from his finger, “Still, the week was a generous thing the boss did for us.” He said. He moved the cake onto a tray, smiling up at Shulin, “It could have been worse.” He said. Shulin rolled his eyes, “I get it.” He then moved from the kitchen. The doors opened several minutes later. “Good work today.” Aden said, placing three trays down, waving to Haji. Haji smiled widely, “I think all days are good work. Everyone had the week off. Some of the Shop’s crew went home to visit family, others remained in city. A white SUV pulled to a stop in the designated parking space outside of the Mall super center. He enjoyed going out in the City, he didn’t have a car of his own, nor a bike. It was an occasion usually when he was able to go into the Downtown area. He stared at the cake before him, raising his head slowly towards the doors of the kitchen as they opened. It was the Boss. Haji bowed himself, rising moments later.
